LOVE LETTERS

Drawing its inspiration from the correspondence of the famous Schumann’s couple, « Love Letters » transcribes into music the passion animated by epistolary exchanges between Clara and Robert. The album present the great cello repertoire, Schumanns’ intimate works and 4 world premières, as well as Schumann’s cello concerto, recorded here with the Philharmonia Orchestra under R. Merlin and pianist Jean-Frédéric Neuburger.
